Dear Creator Family,
Fr. Bill+ and your Vestry met and have put in place guidelines for our parish during this time of the COVID surge. Based on the extremely high infection and transmission rate, as well as the potential for break-through infections, please review the guidelines below for details on our policies regarding worship, pastoral care, and building use. We have considered recommendations by the CDC, state and local health agencies, as well as the Diocese of Virginia.
*Please note that our plans continue to evolve as the public-health situation changes. We may adapt, add, or eliminate protocols and services as needed.
If you have any questions after reading the guidelines, please feel free to contact us at 804-746-8765, creatorcontact@comcat.net.
SUNDAY WORSHIP
Virtual: We intend to continue livestream worship via ZOOM and YouTube.
Inside, In-Person:
OTHER SERVICES
Other services such as memorials or vigils may be held in the Church. Masking protocols will apply in keeping with the Sunday services.
WHEN YOU NEED TO VISIT THE PARISH OFFICE
If visiting the office during regular office hours (Monday-Friday 9-12) please wear your mask. Visitors must also sign in if they enter the enclosed space of the office in the event that contact tracing is needed.
WHEN YOU NEED PASTORAL CARE
Fr. Bill+ is available for pastoral care via phone, email, and Zoom. If you would like to meet him in person, please contact him or the office first to set up an appointment.
SMALL-GROUP MEETINGS
Committees and ministries are encouraged to meet remotely. Any committee or small group wishing to gather in person in the Church or Parish Hall should contact the Church Office first for protocols.
CLEANING AND SANITIZING
Cleaning and sanitizing resources are available in the Church and Parish Hall.
CONFIRMED EXPOSURE
If you have a confirmed exposure or you are diagnosed with COVID-19 and you have been in a church gathering within the exposure/transmission window, you must notify the Church Office right away.
A NOTE ABOUT TESTING
Anyone can obtain a Rapid Test with a result presented within an hour, at the Patient First Health Clinic on Mechanicsville Pike or at other health clinics. It is NOT required that you make an appointment and wait for a slot at your regular physician, nor should you if they do not offer a Rapid Test.
If you believe you have been exposed or are infected, a Rapid Test is essential to begin treatment and in order to notify others.
At all times, our concern has been for the well-being of our entire Church Family. We will continue to monitor public health data and will remain vigilant and sensitive to the changing circumstances in our community.
